The muscular system works by taking energy and turning into motion. Everything you think of, it takes muscles to do.
This system does not have organs, but there are about 640 muscles in your body.
The muscular system works with really everything, but most with the skeletal system. It works like this, the muscle moves the bone and another pulls it back.
The most important muscle in this system is the cardiac muscle. This muscle never gets tired. The Cardiac muscle only exists in the heart. It contracts to push the blood out and relax to draw the blood in. The cardiac muscle is controlled involuntary.

- Muscles make more than half the of your body’s weight.
- Muscles can be as small as the one in your eye, and as big as the ones in your thighs.
- To make a movement the brain sends a signal to the muscle which than makes the muscle to contract.
- The smallest muscle in the human body is the stapedius.
To keep your Muscular system healthy it needs to be moving daily and needs good nutrients.
One of the diseases in the muscular system is Myopathies. This is developed at a young age. One of the symptoms are muscle weakness.
You can treat this with sugary, drug therapy, and physical therapy.
