What are Mushrooms?

Psilocybin and psilocyn are the hallucinogenic principles contained in certain mushrooms. These "magic" mushrooms are generally grown in Mexico and Central America and have been used in native rituals for thousands of years.

HOW ARE THEY USED?

• Mushrooms can be eaten, brewed and consumed as tea.
• It can be chewed both raw and dried.
• They can also be cooked as this destroys its main ingredient
• This drug cannot be smoked

SHORT TERM EFFECTS

• Increased heart rate
• Increased blood pressure
• Abnormal, rapid breathing
• Lung failure
• Changed emotional feelings

LONG TERM EFFECTS

• Prolonged depression
• Increased delusions

Pregnancy Effects

Any and all toxic or poisonous mushrooms during pregnancy.
