It might sound silly but, being in band has changed me.

Music, I have alway loved the way it made me feel. It was an escape. No matter how horrible my day had been, once I stepped into that room nothing else mattered.

I have not just made friends, I gained a family.

I used to not be social. I hid in a corner and when I was social I was very annoying.

Then one day I met all of these kids ,just like me. We used to have many in numbers,but now we are growing smaller each year.

The director Mr.Woods is awesome and all I can say is he has inspired me to be who I am.

I don't have to hide anymore. I have a family now. A competitive sport in which I am proud of. I have had two Marching Band practices and cant wait till summer.
