THE WESTERN POND TURTLE IS A VERTABRATE MEANING IT HAS A BACKBONE

It's diet is, insects, crayfish and other aquatic invertebrates. Fish, puss, tadpoles, and frogs are eaten occasionally, and carrion when available. Plant foods include filamentous algae, lily pads, tule and cattail roots.

What eats it raccoons, skunks, coyotes, and nonnative bullfrogs all eat the western pond turtle or the eggs.

GREEN FROG

ITS A VERTEBRATE YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT THAT MEENS.

They feed on insects such as ants, beetles, spider, grasshoppers and crickets. They also eat fish, worms, crayfish, snails, and caterpillars.
