THERE WAS...
- There was my grandma living on a farm in Korea with her family. In 1958 when she was 16, she met my grandfather and came to New York a year later. In 1961 they moved to Miami and had my mother in 1964 and my uncle in 1968.

MY CULTURE
- From my mom's side of the family I am Korean and French.
- From my dad's side of the family I am Italian.

MY NEIGHBORHOOD
- I live in Pompano Beach. I've lived in the same house my whole life and have come to know my neighbors very well. Since I live right off in intercostal I paddle board over the weekend.
THE BEST ADVICE I'VE EVER BEEN GIVEN
- The best advice I have ever been given is, "Don't let others distract you from reaching your goal." My goal is to be very successful in the future and when I think of this advice it helps me become focused.

IT IS NOT FAIR...
- It is not fair how some women are treated very bad in other countries. In some countries, especially the Middle East, women have little rights and no formal education. It is important to have equality for women everywhere.

IN A PERFECT WORLD...
- My idea of a perfect world is to have less pollution. In today's world so many urban areas produce so much pollution we are poisoning and running out of natural resources. It is important to take care of the resources we have today so they eventually don't run out.

LOOKING BACK
- I realize that I'm very fortunate to be a happy and healthy person. I'm grateful for where I live and all the opportunities I can have in the future.
