Chile: 1818

Chile gained its independence from Spain. It is officially Republic of Chile in South America.


Utah: 1870

The Utah Territory granted women the right to vote, which was revoked in 1887.
Throughout the 19th century, women's suffrage was important.

Vietnam War: 1973

American prisoners from the Vietnam war were released. The Vietnam War was in Southeast Asia.


Winter Olympics: 2010

The Winter Olympics opened in Vancouver, Canada. Unfortunately, the Olympics did not start off great when Nodar Kumartiashivile died during a training run.


Abraham Lincoln: 1809

He was the sixteenth U.S. President. Lincoln led the country through the American Civil War.


Jennifer Stone: 1993

She is a famous actress who was in the show, "Wizards of Waverley Place." She also stared in the hit movie, "Mean Girls 2."
