GYMNASTICS

How is math used?
1- You need to know how to add and subtract decimals
2- You also need to know the degrees of angles

Adding and Subtracting Decimals:
You need to know how to do this because you need to know what your all around score will be. Also you need to know what you have to get to beat your opponents.

Angles:
You need to know the degrees of angles for your leaps (floor and beam) and for your casts (bars).

Salary:
Gymnasts don't get paid but have to get sponsored.
Depending on how good you are and what you can do determines how much you could get paid.

Salary:
You are more likely to get sponsored if you go to the Olympics because you would be more known around the world.

Education:
You don't necessarily have to go to college.

Education:
The best college right now to go to for gymnastics is Oklahoma.

Scholarships:
There are a limited number of spots on the team and a limited number of scholarships. So you don't only compete for a spot on the team but also for a scholarship.

Scholarships:
Durning recruiting coaches look for how good you are, what level you are(high level 10 or elite), how good your grades are and how physically fit you are.

Personality Traits:
You have to be confident, determined, focused, and willing to face your fear.
