Graduate school required, usually a Master's degree. Experience is usually required for a job. Minimal on-the-job training required. It is assumed that you'll have the required skills.

Nature of the job is usually full-time, sometimes a weird schedule such as weekends or nights.
Expected to grow slowly & jobs will be competitive.

Conclusion

Choose librarian because I have a passion for information.
Writing is not my strongest point right now.
Instructional Coordinator seems like it would require a lot of experience
