My homework

Published on Nov 19, 2015

Since I don't own a printer and I haven't had an opportunity to play with your software yet, I thought I'd send the info you requested via a deck.

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Hey Adam,

First of all, thanks for your time!

Roles I'd like to fill

Power rangers really were the first job i ever wanted
I'm learning to code and I'm gaining a lot of ground. Trouble is, I'm not hirable yet as an engineer. I'd love to work with developers in some fashion, but I'm not picky (nor can I afford to be). I like to wear many hats, and enjoy roles that require doing so.

Build Coordinator - It's what I did at Big Fish and I'm really good at it. It's a rare role though, and pretty boring if I'm honest.

Software Developer in Test - Only available at Microsoft as far as I'm aware, but a good stepping stone to development. Appealing because I have experience writing automated tests

Marketing Campaign Manager - I've never worked in a marketing department, but I've always been interested in it. I know people and customers well.

Writer - I like to write. I've never done it professionally, but a boy can dream.

QA Tester - A role like this depends on a number of different factors. These positions can be mind-numbingly boring or a jolly good time.

Companies I'd like to work for

of those that I know, anyway
The following companies made this list largely by virtue of hiring the most people per unit time in this area as well as being tech-oriented.

Tableau
Pop Cap
Razorfish
Microsoft
Adobe
AdReady

Available Positions

That I would be killer at
Microsoft - Software Development Engineer in Test

AdReady - Account Manager

Nintendo - Digital Operations Coordinator

Tableau - Marketing Campaign Manager (this is more of a pipe-dream, since I have no marketing experience.)
