PRESENTATION OUTLINE

my mom

By: Trinity Rhymer

adversity and resilience

  • Her adversity was her dad dying.
  • Her resilience is that she works through all the problems and talks to people who help her.

A day I would relate to her would be October 28 because that's her birthday.

"A mother is she would can take the place of all the others but whose place no one can take" - Anna, Siobhan, And Jake
This quote is not only about moms but my mom will always be there as of other friends. She can take the place of any boy or any friend but no one can take her place.

I chose to dedicate "Thank You Mom" by Good Charlotte to my mom.
"And even when the times got hard you were there to let us know that we'd get through" and this makes me think of my mom because she's always here for me, always gives me the best advice, and remind me that everything is going to be okay. "You taught me how to understand the things people do.. you taught me that not everyone knows the truth" and this also remind me of my mom because i'm always getting upset when people talk about me or when someone walks out of my life and she reminds me that it's their loss not mine.

My freebie would be at Texas Roadhouse, you would get free ice cream on her birthday. I choose Texas Roadhouse because that is her favorite restaurant.

channel day to honor my mom

  • The Walking Dead
  • Switched at Birth
  • The Fosters
  • Soap Operas
  • These would be appropriate because whenever you find her watching tv she's watching one or the other!

I decided to honor my mom, she deserves it because of everything she has been through, my mom has always been a strong women but i've never seen my mom torn up like she did when her dad died. She still struggles with that everyday but now she works through it and talks about the pain she feels. She is more than important to everyone around her, she helps everyone who needs it, she's everyone's go to person and 2nd mom. She's stronger then ever and i'm more than grateful to call her my mom.
