Our students are varied in age and ability. The iPad and it's apps allow for differentiation of not only abilities but learning styles. They also afford the teacher an amazing array of presentation techniques to meet each and every student need.
At first it may seem like a gimmick, but it's so much more. For the students it's engaging and for the teacher it offers many versatile options to enhance teaching.
