PRESENTATION OUTLINE
My Car
The car I chose was a Nissan Versa. I chose this car because it was cheap and it was big enough to fit 4 people.
Historical Site 1
The first historical site I chose was The Morse Museum. This museum houses the art if Louis Comfort Tiffany including the artists designer jewelry, pottery, paintings, art glass, leaded-glass lamps and windows and his chapel interior. They even have, new wing made for him!
Historical Site 2
The second historical site I chose was the Orange County Regional History Center. This museum houses a restored 5 story 1927 county courthouse. The exhibits journey 12,000 years of Central Florida History.
The recreational sites I chose were the World Bowling Center and Orlando Grand Prix. Here are some facts about them. The World Bowling Center has a state of the art 32 lane bowling center in the heart of Orlando's tourism district. The Orlando Grand Prix is a track with over 70,000 square feet of space. Both the World Bowling Center and Orlando Grand Prix are open Monday through Sunday.
My Hotels
The hotels I chose were Travelodge Inn and Castle Hotel. I chose these hotels because both of them were cheap and they both offered free breakfast. To stay 2 nights at the Travelodge Inn I had to pay $156. To stay 2 nights at the Castle Hotel I had to pay $232.
Restaurant
My favorite restaurant was The Cheesecake Factory. This was my favorite restaurant because it served one if my favorite foods: Pizza! For 4 people to eat there it cost about $44.
Trip Summary
My favorite destination was the Orlando Grand Prix because it would be my first time kart racing. I thought that the Morse Museum was interesting because it displayed art. Mathematics was important because if I didn't have it I wouldn't be able to know how much money I spent. I needed addition skills to add the total cost of my trip, multiplication skills to figure out the total cost of the hotel, and subtraction and division skills to figure out how much gas I would need. The total cost of my trip was $928.64 with $3571.36 left.
This was my presentation on My Trip To Orlando Florida! I hope you enjoyed it!
