Monarchs migrate because if it is to cold they will die! When it is too cold milkweed dies and monarchs need milkweed too lay their eggs on.

a plant that monarch's feed off of and lay their eggs on. Without it monarch's population could decrease and lead to extinction.

People are building houses on top of fields where milkweed grows.

people cutting down trees in Mexico that Monarchs need for shelter during migration.

E.O.is...a disease that is found on tropical milkweed.

• Plant the native milkweed not the milkweed that is infested with EO
• Don't kill milkweed
• Don't eat food that kills milkweed or uses spray to kill weeds
• Start an organization for the poor monarchs
• Plant trees where they migrate
