Described to be a tall red bearded viking who has burning red eyes.

Thor is one of the most powerful gods of the major mythologies.
Northern, sea-faring people, came across a lot of thunderstorms.
Storm occurrences are extremely powerful and terrifying.
People of Aesir that Thor caused these storms.

His hammer Mjolnir means "The Destroyer".
This hammer was made by dwarfs.
The hammer magically appears in Thors hand whenever needed.
