LIFE

  • Nadia was born in and died in Paris,France.
  • She composed in the 20th century era.
  • She played the piano and organ.

FAMILY AND LEARNING

  • Nadia came from a musical family.
  • She was a student at Paris Conservatory.
  • She taught Aaron Copland and many others.
  • She taught in Juilliard school, royal college of music and a few others.

ACHEIVEMENTS

  • In her life time Boulanger was the first woman to conduct many major orchestras in America and Europe.

HOW SHE LEARNED

  • After her father retired he taught her some things about music.
  • After her fathers death she was devoted even more to music.

  • She wrote her music for pianos and organs.
  • She also was a conductor for some orchestras.

WORLD WAR

  • During world war1 she came to America and taught for awhile.
  • After World War 1 Nadia helped found the American Conservatory.

FAMILY AND AGE OF DEATH

  • Nadias husband was Max Deutsch.
  • She also died at the age 96.
  • Nadia had a sister named lili Boulanger.
  • After her sisters death at 24 Nadia stopped composing and started tutoring.
  • Nadia had no children at all.
