• Eliminate trade practices
• Reduce unemployment
• Establish minimum wage
• Set maximum hours
• Guarantee the right of labour

WHAT DOES IT DO?

• Representatives of business, labor, and government created codes
• Codes of fair practices
• Set prices, production levels, etc

WHO DID IT AFFECT/BENEFIT?

• Affected businesses
• Benefitted some employees
• The minimum wage set and maximum hours helped workers
• More people were hired

SHUT DOWN IN 1935

• Accomplished many things at first but it backfired
• Business owners thought they were meddling too much
• Business owners soon started to go against it
