Later moved south where the buffalo migrated, so they can hunt them

Men hunted buffalo and went to war when needed
Elders told legends and fairytales to the children, because they are a major part of their culture
Children played games and helped their mothers with housing when asked
Women took car of the house(tipi) , cooked,cleaned,made clothes blankets shoes,etc., and took car of the children

Comanche Indians ate deer,rabbit,fruit, veggies, wild potatoes,and mainly buffalo meat.

Housing
Comanches lived in small tipis. They used tipis, because they are easy to take down and put together for when they go to different camp sites to hunt buffalo.

Comanches have their own native language, but today it is endangered.
Some mostly elders, speak their native Comanche language

1790 the Comanches population had reached 20,000
In 1851, the population dropped to 12,000

Famous Comanche People
One of the most famous Comanche is Quanah Parker.
Quanah Parker is mostly famous for his ethincity. He is half white(on his mother's side) and half Comanche(on his father's side)
He was the last Comanche band to hold out against reservation.
