- The Karankawas were a Native American tribe.
- They lived along the Gulf Coast of Texas

- The Karankawas had lots of wildlife,berries,plants,and roots to eat.

- The Karankawas lived in a shelter made of trees woven into framework
- The framework looks like a half-sphere and they covered it in grass mats.

- The men wore breechcloths.
- The women wore grass skirts.
- Children often went naked.
- There were many bugs so the people used mud to protect their skin.
