Tepees Tents that were shaped like cones with a Buffalo hide cover and a wood frame . Tepees were designed to break down quickly because the midwest NA did not live in a permanent settlement.
Grass house Houses were built by NA's in the Southern Midwest. They were made with a wooden frame covered with prairie grass. Grass houses were good for warm places because they have thin walls.
Food Midwest NA tribes hunted and captured for food. The tribes were big hunters for caribous. Many tribes traded with each other because they could only grow 1 or 2 crops.
Clothing Male midwest NA's wore leggings and clothes around their waists. Women would wear dresses made out of deerskin. In the winter people would wear buffalo skin on their shoulders to keep them warm from the cold weather. They also would wear a lot of jewelry.
