PRESENTATION OUTLINE

NAZI PROPOGANDA

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF NAZI PROPAGANDA HITLER USED AND EXAMPLES

During Hitler's uprising, Hitler wanted to ensure that the Nazi message was spread to everyone.

He incorporated his propaganda through music, art, rallies, theatrical plays/ films, radio/speech, the news, and the school learning system.

"Nazi films portrayed Jews as 'subhuman' creatures infiltrating Aryan society." - USHMM

Newspapers not only had articles on deceitful Jews, but they also featured cartoons that depicted Jews as inhumane monsters.

Instead of creating more books about Naziism, the Nazi party burned books that did not correspond with Nazi's ideal image and beliefs.

"Nazi Germany introduced a system of censorship. You could only read, see and hear what the Nazis wanted you to read, see, and hear." - History Learning Site

Radios were sold very cheaply, so many people could hear Hitler speaking.

Goebbels, the man in charge of propaganda, organized rallies that convinced and attracted people to join the Nazi's side.

This Nazi political painting brags about how large Hitler's rallies were.

The Nazi Party was very smart about their target audience. They targeted the German youth since they would be Germany's future. They got rid of Jewish teachers and taught kids Nazi beliefs.

CONCLUSION

  • I learned that Nazi Propaganda is so powerful because of the different ways it reached out to people since some people trust different forms more than others
  • This topic is important because it teaches us how to distinguish good and bad propoganda. This way, if anything like this occurs in the future, we can point it out and stop it
  • While researching this topic, I realized how scary this time was. You could not walk through Germany without seeing any Nazi propaganda.
