Direct Costs

  • Pick an accounting period
  • Pick one product type
  • Determine all costs specific to that product
  • Divide by number of products

Indirect Costs

  • Pick same accounting month
  • Total all indirect costs
  • Divide by total number of products (to get indirect costs per product)
