MOVMENT

  • Coyotes get around on four legs.
  • They have strong hind legs and paws with a de claw
  • Coyotes have strong front legs too.

REPRODUCTION

  • They give live birth to pups.
  • A litter size is usually six,
  • But can be from 1-19

SENSITIVITY

  • It uses it's nose to sense prey.
  • It uses it's limbs to run from a predators.
  • The coyote uses it's tail to balance.
  • In the spring they try to find a mate.

NUTRITION

  • They eat small mammals.
  • Rabbits, Ground Squirrels,
  • And sometimes birds snakes
  • And large insects.
  • Also carrion leaves fruit and veggies

EXCRETION & RESPIRATION

  • They exhale carbon dioxide.
  • They also get rid of digestive waste
  • They breathe in oxygen with their lungs.

GROWTH

  • Young are born in a den
  • After a gestation period for 60 days.
  • The young start to leave the den after3-4weeks.
  • And are fully weaned after 5 weeks .
