WHAT IS A EARTHQUAKE?

A SUDDEN SHAKE ON THE GROUND CAUSING MAJOR DESTRUCTION

The Impact On People:
The earthquake caused more than 8000 people to die and houses were demolished.

Impact On People Socially:
With houses destroyed citizens of Nepal were forced to move out of their houses and live in tents with other people. They are fed and have medical supplies.

Impact On People Economically:
With the damage of houses and the loss of citizens in Nepal that damage would cost between $1 billion and $10 billion even higher.

Impact On People Politically: Hundreds of Nepali troops gather in the country. U.S. Marines helicopter went missing while delivering aid to a local village in Nepal.

Suggestions For Solutions:
Since houses were demolished Nepal citizens had to live in tents. U.S. Marines feed and give aid to all citizens. Nepali troops send search parties to search for lost loved ones and give them medical attention.
