MASSACHUSETTS BAY COLONY
Founded in 1628
Originally located in Plymouth, Massachusetts
Most people were puritans
Basic information students need to know about the colony.

LIFE IN THE COLONY
Lived in dirt floor huts at first
Children did not attend school, but were instead taught religion
Set up a local government
Colonial jobs included ship builders and fisheries
Each town had a meeting house
More detailed information about the colony
