  • Chile peppers are a sometimes spicy food.
  • In New Mexico you can find them as food and decorations
  • Chile peppers became the state veggie in 1965.

NEW MEXICO CUTTHROAT TROUT

  • This fish is native to New Mexico's mountain streams.
  • It became the state fish in 1955.
  • This trout has red streaks under it's throat.

  • Native Americans make a lot of turquoise jewelry.
  • They also wear regular clothing.

  • This seal was adopted in 1913.
  • It features two eagles.
  • The bald eagle has it's wings to the Mexican eagle symboling New Mexico becoming part of the U.S.A!
