NEWTON'S LAWS OF MOTION PROJECT
Newton's First law
If you lift one of the end balls. The balls will keep hitting the other balls making them in motion. The balls will keep hitting and transferring their force. It will do this till the ball on the end will come back and hit the one that hit it. This illustrates the law because the balls are staying in motion until they hit another ball.
In the photo a man is kicking a soccer ball. The man is using the force of his foot to move the soccer ball. The ball is going to go up then come back down in a curved motion. It will do this because gravity and a sideways force are both acting on the soccer ball. This represents the law because the soccer ball is moving using an outside force.
Newton's second law
In the photo the kid is pushing a toy car. The kid is the force applied. The car is the object being applied. The mass of the car depends on how much the car is moving. This represents the law because it has a force applied, a mass, and an amount of acceleration.
In the photo a man is throwing a baseball. The ball has a small mass. The mass is very small so the man is going to throw the baseball far. The man is the force applied to the baseball. This represents the law because it has a force applied to the baseball and the baseball is moving dependent on the mass.
Newton's third law
In the photo a man is shooting a fire extinguisher. The force of the fire extinguisher is making the man go backwards on the skateboard. The force of the fire extinguisher is the action. The force of the skateboard moving is the reaction. This represents the law because there is an equal and opposite reaction.
In the photo a man is pushing off of a wall. He is moved backward when he pushes. The push is the action. The backward movement is the reaction. This represents Newton's third law because it has an equal and opposite reaction to the action.
