PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Newton's First Law:
An object at rest will stay at rest, and a object in motion will stay in motion unless acted on by an outside force.
"KAN I EAT IT" -KIM JONG UN
Examples of 1st law:
1. If we push Zane across the room on a chair, he will not stop until he runs into something or gravity and friction stops the chair.
2. If we throw an iPad at Zane, it won't stop until it hits him or gravity pulls it to the ground.
3. If the iPad is sitting still on the desk, it will not move unless someone or an outside force moves it.
2nd law
The force acting on an object equals the objects mass times its acceleration
It is harder to pull a large rock than it is to a smaller rock
A soccer ball will go farther than a bowling ball being kicked.
Another example is if jimmy tries to pull his house to to the real estate office to sell it it will go no where because it is to heavy.
3rd law
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
The force initially exerted is the action force, the force opposite is the reaction force
For example when you blow up a balloon that is the action force and when the air comes out that is the reaction force
When you karate chop a board you hitting it is the action force and when it breaks it's the reaction force
When a ball hitting the ground is the action force and the reaction force is when it bounces
