PRESENTATION OUTLINE

MALES AS VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Nick Smith

THESIS

Some people believe that the mother should be the primary caregiver of the child

The mother is much more likely to get custody rather than the father as 68-88% of most custody goes to the mother. Fathers get 8-14%

Even though the law no longer pre-decides on custody, the mother is still more likely to get the child(ren)
