  • Nickel was discovered in 1751 by a Swedish chemist
  • Axel Fredrick Cronstedt he discovered nickel in
  • (NiAs)

NICKEL NAME

  • The word Nickel originates from the word
  • "Kupfernickel" which means the devils
  • copper.

  • Nickel is a metal and it is located
  • at period 4, group 10 in the periodic
  • table of elements.

  • Nickel is only 25% of a US nickel
  • Nickel compounds are normally blue or green
