NIGERIAN ECONOMY

  • Before it was just tribe to tribe or individually person to person.
  • Trading of foods, animals, or weapons.
  • After, slaves, ivory, and petroleum products started to be exported.
  • The english used nigeria for their raw materials and labor.

NIGERIA'S SOCIAL SYSTEM AND PROBLEMS

  • There was not just one leader for the country, there was a leader per tribe.
  • But after colonization the english tried to become a dictator or king.
  • Slavery became a rising problem as more people are being sold away.
  • Hiv and aids became a new problem killing of many people.

NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT

  • Before colonization each tribe governed them self.
  • Not worrying about other tribes affairs.
  • The english put up a military dictator until 1998.
  • The dictator pushed tribes together forcing them to work together.

NIGERIAN CULTURE

  • Before each individual tribe had their own language.
  • But when the English ruled, they forced the english language to be used
  • Nigerian people started to use English technology such as firearms.
  • And wear new clothing.
