• They are constantly building new factories and doing research which involves having a capital.
• Also they must have a large capital so they can pay employees and make products.

• The proximity to outlets is extremely important for this industry
• It's important because the manufacturing plants are very spread out so they need to be able to ship over sea.
• It's also important because the plants need to be near a populated area which are by inputs.
