NOAH'S ARK

BY: KATIE BOHM AND MARY BETH FASON

God saw what a terrible place the world had become.

God saw one good man, Noah, and God asked him to build an ark.

Noah was a very old man, but he knew with God's help anything is possible.

After many years of hard work Noah finished building the ark.

God told Noah to gather 2 of each type of animal, a male and female and bring them in the ark.

The ark was a smelly, noisy place with all of the animals.

Finally, the flood came. It rained, rained, and rained for 40 days and 40 nights.

For 150 days the ark tossed on the water and Noah had to keep all of the animals healthy.

One day God caused a warm wind to blow. The rain stopped and the water began to go down.

After a while Noah let a raven out of the window to see if it could find some dry ground. It never came back.

He waited 7 more days and let a dove out. The dove came back with a fresh olive leaf.

Noah waited a few more days and sent the dove out again.

This time the dove didn't come back. It had found a new place to live!

FINALLY, God told Noah it was alright to leave the ark.

Noah opened the door and all of those animals rushed out.

They found a new place to live in the world that God washed clean.

GOD HAD SAVED THEM!!!!
