PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Norns - Female beings who rule the destiny of gods and men.

Ymir - A giant and the first creature to come into being in the Norse creation narrative.

Yggdrasil - Is the tree of life. It is an eternal green Ash tree; the branches stretches out over all of the nine worlds, and extend up and above the heavens. Yggdrasil is carried by three enormous roots.

Trolls - A supernatural being in Norse mythology. They are described to dwell in isolated rocks, mountains, or caves, live together in small family units, and are not really helpful to human beings.

Audmula - A supernatural cow, who emerged from the nothingness at the beginning of the world.

Midgard Serpent - Is a sea serpent, the serpent grew so large that he was able to surround the earth and grasp his own tail.

Sleipnir - The eight-legged horse of the god Odin. Sleipnir is one of Odin's many shamanic helping spirits.

Hugin and Munin - Are two ravens who are the helping spirits of the god Odin.

Valkyries - A female figure(s) who choose if they may die in battle or those who may live.

Fenrir - A gigantic and terrible monster in the shape of a wolf. He is the eldest child of Loki and the giantess Angrboda.

Jormugand - "Great Beast", a snake or dragon who lives in the ocean that surrounds Midgard, the visible world.

Surt - A fire giant who leads his kin into battle against the Aesir and Vanir gods
