Cosmogony

There was a fire and ice realm that collided. The ice mountains began to melt and the god Ymir emerged with a salt licking cow. Ymir drank the cows milk and grew larger. He was brutal and cruel so Odin the god king decided to kill him. He fell and different parts of his body became elements of the earth.

Odin was walking around the earth and saw two fallen trees and breathed life into them creating men and women

The Earth was Created from Chaos

Odin-Leader of the gods. He was the God of wisdom, war, and death.

Thor- The god of thunder. Thor was a protector of the gods and humans

When one died in Norse culture they used one of the two burial methods, cremation or inhumation. When cremated they were usually placed in a wagon or boat to symbolize transportation to another realm. Depending how you died you would get entrance into certain realms.
