  • US has a federal republic with a president, vice president, and speaker of the house.
  • Right to bear arms, freedom of speech, freedom of press, right to own private property, ect.

  • Most of North America is Christian Hinduism Buddhism and Islam
  • They share the belief of a god and they have certain rituals

URBAN/RURAL

  • Most people live in cities and towns but people live in many different locations.
  • In cities people live in apartments and in other places people live in many different sizes and styles of houses.

FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS

  • A typical family includes a mother, father, and 1-3 kids.
  • Most parents work and kids go to school.
  • They mostly live together under one roof.

SOCIAL STRUCTURE/WEALTH

  • rich class, middle class, and rich class
  • it is concentrated in major cities but the cities are more spread out

FASHION, LITERATURE, ART, AND MUSIC

  • fashions include a wide range of clothing depending on the climate where people live or the occasion (ex: shorts, t shirts, jeans, dresses).
  • Some famous literature include the scarlet letter, Moby-Dick, and to kill a mocking bird.
  • Popular music in North America is country, pop, rock, and rap.
  • some famous artists in North America are Norman Rockwall, Andrew Wyeth, and Jackson Pollock

EDUCATION

  • most parents send their kids to school (public or private) but some choose to homeschool their kids or choose another school option (going to school that is mostly focused on a specific sport).
  • in school children typically study different types of math, science, English, and history along with many other class options (sports, foreign languages, health, debate, arts, and many others)

Land use

  • most people buy or lease land to live on or for other uses (farming ect.) but a lot of the land is owned by the government (national parks, roads, cities, ect.)
  • epending on the location land is used for many different things including farming, livestock, and manufacturing.

  • people exchange many things in North America such as (food, furniture, communication, technology ect.
  • goods ect.
