HOMES

  • 20-60 feet wide
  • 50-150 feet long
  • Used wooden pegs and logs to make houses
  • The richer the family, the bigger the house
  • They painted the houses for decoration

FOOD

  • Ate food from the sea mostly
  • They ate fish, elk, rabbit, fox and bird
  • Tried to kill wolf and brown bear but were often killed
  • They had a first food ceremony
  • They also ate corn, squash and wheat

  • They used canoe's or walked
  • Often used dog sled
  • Only used dog sled to travel far distances
