THINGS TO AVOID
- Random, unrelated graphics
- "Wall of text"
- Excessive bullet points
- Too many slides
- Animation overkill
Wall of text slides are the worst possible thing you can have in your presentation. Please never use these. By no means should you ever read exactly what is on the slide when you give your presentation.
Too Many Bullet Points Kill Your Audience
- Here is an example of a slide with too many bullet points.
- See that the text is very small, which makes it hard to read.
- Notice the zombies in the background?
- Zombies are what happen when you use too many bullet points.
- Haiku Deck won't let me put bullet points to the end of the page.
