ST. FRANCIS XAVIER

  • Was a cofounder of the society of Jesus (Jesuits)
  • One of the first 7 Jesuits who took vows of poverty and chastity
  • The first Christian missionary to do to the Maluku Islands

ST. PETER CLAVER

  • Was a Spanish Jesuit and priest
  • Became the patron saint of slaves
  • The Congress of the Republic of Columbia declared September 9 National Human Rights Day in his honor

ST. PETER FABER

  • Was the first Jesuit priest
  • Became the master of the Spiritual Exercises
  • Was the first of St. Ignatius’s companions to be ordained

St. Aloysius Gonzaga

  • Had a spiritual awakening at the age of 7

  • Died young at the age of 23
