on the Eastern half of the île de la Cité. It is also in the fourth arrondissement of Paris, France.

BASIC INFO
The Notre Dame is the most famous cathedral in France, mainly because of the beautiful architecture. Although, it is not only used for religious purposes but it is also a museum.

HISTORY
Notre Dame de Paris was built 1163 and completed 1345. The reason why this cathedral was built was because the bishop of the did not like the old cathedral. So he designed a new one.

VISITING
There is no admission cost and it is open from Mon to Sat at 7:45 AM through 6:45 PM and on Sunday at 7:45 AM through 7:30 PM.
