PRESENTATION OUTLINE

What is Nuclear Energy?
•the energy released during nuclear fission or fusion, especially when used to generate electricity.

Nuclear energy can be transformed into Uranium and into thermal energy.

Uranium is only found in certain minerals and there is not a great amount of it so nuclear energy from uranium is a nonrenewable sorce.

Construction to nuclear power plants create a range if export opportunities. For a single reactor, depending on the design requires a lot to build.

To build a nuclear energy plant you need:
•500-3000 nuclear valves
•125-250 pumps
•44 miles of piping

Continuing:
•300 miles of electric wiring
•90000 electrical components
It all depends on the size and the design.

An issue with using nuclear energy is that it is nonrenewable and that means that there could be a time where there isn't any left to use.
