2.
Non Renewable
we get these fossil fuels by fracking
we know they are there by drillling samples
we also get uranium from russia because we dont have much here

3.
Coal
Coal is a fossil fuel and comes from fraking
we know it is there because we research places that have coal in the soal
we dont have it here because the soil is different

4.
Oil
Oil also comes from fracking
we dont have it here because it is not the right soil because we destroy the soil
we know it is there because we use a machine to locate it and we then use a drill to get oil but this takes time

5.
Natural Gas
we get natural gas from deep in the ground and we use fracking to get it
we find it by using a machine to drill samples and see if there is natural gas in it
it is only in certain parts of the world because some soil is different

6.
Nuclear
Nuclear comes from splitting an atom
we have to contain it in a factory
if it explodes... bye bye world

7.
renewable energy
renewable energy includes solar, wind, hydropower, biomass.
we get these from the sun, wind, water, living things.

8.
Solar
We get solar energy from the sun
this is a renewable source because the sun will never go away
we set up solar panels to get energy

Lights In The Dark
9.
Wind
this is a renewable source because wind will always be there and it will never cause pollution
prices have gone down and are expected to keep going down
wind comes from the sun

10.
Hydropower
it is much safer than all the other fuels
hydropower will always be here cause water will always be here

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District
11.
Biomass
we will always have it cause it comes from plants and other things
it is part of the carbon cycle
cost less than fossil fuels so you pay less
large quantities all over the world

12.
Distributing Energy
we distribute energy by pipelines, ships, power substations, and power grids
these costs a lot of money to place and for some it costs alot of money to cross the ocean

13.
Conserving Energy
We conserve energy by turning off lights and water and stuff like that when we are not using them
it doesnt cost as much when we conseerve energy
