PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Octavio Paz was born in the 20th century and was raised in Mexico City, Mexico. Octavio had starting reading some works of European poets that were from Spain. He grew a love towards these poems and the authors and they influenced him to write some poems and writings at around the age of 12. Th set up the foundation of who he was going to be as a person later on in his life.
Octavio Paz contributed to the Hispanic community by his poetry. His early poetry was based on religious beliefs of many kinds. His later poetry was more about love, peace, and his passion of modern painting. This contributed to the Hispanic community because other younger Hispanics may have a negative view of themselves because of Hispanics stereotypically being viewed or called "blue collars" and Octavio Paz gave them more of a positive view on their culture and who they are as people.
Octavio always loved writing poems even from an early age. He did this because he loved poems. The earliest poem collection he had ever wrote was called Luna Silvestre and he did this at the age of 19
