Classification

The octopus is in the class cephalopod. 

Life Cycle

Egg, Larvae, Adult & live up to 3-5 years.
It hatches from the egg, turns into plankton, floats to the top of the ocean, stays there for 5-16 weeks and feeds on other plankton, sink to the bottom of ocean and turn into adults.

How it eats

Dismember them with their beaks.
It injects them with a paralyzing saliva.

What it eats

It eats baby turtles, crabs, etc.

Fun Facts

Octopuses are very intelligent.
Scientists have studied that they are in fact the most intelligent of all invertebrates.
