THE ODYSSEY

CHARACTERS

  • Telemachus- Odysseus' son
  • Athena- "Mentor"- Odysseus' old friend
  • Nestor- King of Pylos, lets them stay in his house
  • Agamemnon- killed by Aegisthus, husband of Clytemnestra
  • Aegisthus- killed Agamemnon, who was his father

CHARACTERS (CONT.)

  • Orestes- brother of Aegisthus, kills him for revenge

Telemachus and Athena and the rest of their crew arrive in Pylos. They arrive at Nestor's home and he invites them inside for a feast. He tells them a story about what happened to the people who battled in Troy.
