What is the Nobel Prize?
The Nobel Prize an award administered by the Nobel Foundation, located in Stockholm, Sweden. It is given to six people for the work they do that impacts the six categories greatly.

On November 27, 1895, Alfred Nobel signed his last will and testament, giving the largest share of his fortune to a series of prizes in the six categories.

HOW IS AN INDIVIDUAL CHOSEN FOR THIS AWARD?

  • The noble committee sends out invitation letters to people that are qualified for the award. The committee later receives back nominations, and makes a short list of nominees(from the 200 or so they receive) that could win the award. Permanent advisers chosen to vote on who should win the award. Choose the laureates, or the winners of the awards.
