History
Ol Doinyo Lengai has erupted in 1550 BC, 50 AD, 700, 1350, 1880, 1882, 1904, 1907, 1914, 1916, 1921, 1926, 1940, 1954, 1955, 1958, 1960, 1967, 1983, 1994, 2006 and in 2007. The biggest eruption was in 2006.

Current data

Location: Gregory Rift in Tanzania
Type of volcano: stratovalano or composite volcano.
Current activity: active volcano, not in process of eruption.
There is no danger towards the local population. Ol Doinyo Lengai is also silica rich.

FUTURE PREDICTIONS
People are not expecting an eruption any time soon, but there will be one in the future.
They encourage the Tanzanian population to learn about the hazards of living near an active volcano.
