WHAT CAN WE DO?

PARENTS & TEACHERS

  • Discuss social media at home and in school to gain a better understanding of what kids are looking at on a daily basis.
  • Remind kids that what is posted online has usually had some type of edit and has been selectively chosen.
  • Talk to kids about feelings of being left out and how they can cope with them.

THEY DIDN’T CHOOSE IT, IT IS A PART OF THEIR WORLD AS THEY KNOW IT.
