Week one -- Knowledge transfer...

  • Learn processes and protocols
  • Clarify Expectations
  • Engage in timely communication
  • Devise regular communication processes with staff and board
  • Begin to build trust...walk the walk
  • Understand current year budget and key activities

Listen and learn about current processes from all levels of staff

Develop communication process -- how does EC want to get updates,

  • Meet with each board member -- listen and ask
  • Meet with each staff member == leadership team, departments, individually
  • Begin to access staffing
  • Calendar key upcoming meetings and project timelines
  • Devise 90 day plan -- early opportunities

BOard member interviews -- get to know, ask 3 main questions

Meetings with staff - listen, learn, plan a fun event for team building with senior leadership

Evaluate staffing -- any open positions, any alignments that need evaluations

Devise 90 day plan -- communication with stakeholders, partners, WEF etc.
