CELL MEMBARANE

BOUNDARY OF A CELL THAT CONTROLS THE MOVEMENT OF MATERIALS
A gate is similar to the function of the cell membrane because it acts as a boundary and controls our movement by enclosing or keeping us out of an area

CYTOPLASM

JELLY LIKE FLUID THAT DISSOLVES SUBSTRATES AND SUSPENDS THE ORGANELLES
Just like cytoplasm the school grounds provide a spot for buildings and fills up empty space

CYTOSKELETON

NETWORK OR PROTEINS THAT CHANGE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE CELL
Cytoskeletons are a network of proteins that change to meet the needs of a cell. Similarly teachers are a network of people that change to meet the needs of the students.

NUCLEUS

CONTROL CENTER OF THE CELL
Similar to the function of the nucleus the main office controls the actions of students and stores their information.

NUCLEOLUS

DENSE REGION WITHIN THE NUCLEUS WHERE RIBOSOMES ARE MADE
The function of the nucleolus and the admissions director are alike in which the director is in charge of the admission office.

SMOOTH ER

MAKES LIPIDS AND VESICLES
Like the smooth ER the cafeteria has fatty foods, and creates products that allow us to have nutrients in our body's.

ROUGH ER

TRANSPORTS AND MODIFIES PROTEINS
The halls are similar to the function of a rough ER because it transports students, and modifies us in which in the halls we get prepared for our next class.

RIBOSOMES

CREATES PROTEINS AND LINKS AMINO ACIDS
The function of a ribosome compares to the admissions office because proteins keep the cell alive. The admissions office admits students and the students keep the school alive and functioning.

GOLGI APPARATUS

STORES, MODIFIES, AND PACKAGES PROTEINS
The Golgi apparatus and the classroom are alike in which students are kept in classrooms to learn and "be modified."

VESICLE

TRANSPORTS MATERIALS WITHIN THE CELL
The function of a vesicle and a backpack compare because a backpack transports and contains the materials needed for school.

MITOCHONDRIA

POWER HOUSE OF THE CELL
The function of the generator is similar to the mitochondria because all of our technology and learning devices revolve around the lower of the generator.

VACUOLE

STORAGE OF WATER, FOOD, ENZYMES, AND WASTE
A vacuole and the bathroom have similar functions in which it stores students waste and contains water and just as enzymes helps with processes, go through our processes in the bathroom.

LYSOSOMES

CONTAINS DIGESTIVE ENZYMES THAT HELPS BREAK DOWN EASTE
Taking out waste is a similarity between both the lysosomes and janitors.

CENTRIOLE

AIDS IN CELL DIVISION
Centriole and the different school buildings have the same function because school buildings help divide the community into different sectors.

CELL WALL

GIVE PROTECTION SUPPORT AND SHAPE
The cell wall and the gate are similar because a gate provides protection support and gives shape to our school. We are using gate again because of the similarities from cell wall to the cell membrane; since the cell wall is only in plant and bacteria a gate should be able to be used for both organelles.

CHLOROPLAST

CARRYS OUT PHOTOSYNTHESIS, MAKES GLUCOSE,
Trees contain chloroplast and they bring the color green to the school. They also carry out photosynthesis just like chloroplast.
