Microscopes

• Cells were discovered by microscopes
• There are 3 types of microsepes
• The transmission electron microscope
• The scanning electron microscope
• And the light microscope

Organells

• A cell has a lot of organelles each having a different function
• Organelles include the nucleus, mitochondria, and ribosomes

Plant and Animal Cells are Different

• Plant and animal cells have many differences
• Plant cells have a cell wall while animal cells dont
• Plant cells have a central vacuol
• Animal cells have one or more small vacuols 
• Plant cells have chloroplast, animals don't

The Nucleus

• The nucleus is found in all eukaryotic cells
• It is not present in prokaryotic cells
• In the cell it is enclosed in a cell membrane
• If you didn't remember a nucleus is an organelle
• In eukaryotic cells the DNA is in the nucleus

Chloroplast

• Chloroplast is only in plant cells
• It turns sun energy into its own energy
• Animal cells don't have chloroplast  
• Animals eat food

Cell Wall

• A cell wall is only covering plant cells
• It protects the cell from damage

Three Cell Domains

• Bacteria can sometimes carry disease
• Archea lives in extreme locations
• Eukarya are eukaryotic celle

Cells

• Any living thing must have 1 or more cells
• Cells come from other living cells
• Cells form tissues, tissues form organs
• Organs form organ systems
• Lastly organ systems form organism
